Citywide Berkeley School Supply Giveaway & Resource Fair

Community Fundraising Campaign | Goal: $30,000

Keep Berkeley’s Back-to-School Resource Fair Going

Since 2010, the nonprofit SupplyBank.org, the Berkeley Unified School District, and Covenant Church have co-hosted the Citywide Berkeley School Supply Distribution & Resource Fair — providing grade-appropriate school supply kits and connections to community resources for over 1,300 Berkeley students and families every year. For more than a decade and a half, Berkeley families have known that before school starts, there’s a place they can go to receive support and the resources they need for their students to be set up for success for the school year.

City budget reductions have put this year’s event in jeopardy. We’re turning to Berkeley’s businesses and community members to raise $30,000 and keep this 16-year tradition alive. Your gift goes further than you think: thanks to SupplyBank.org’s bulk purchasing power, $30,000 raised delivers more than $70,000 in supplies to families.
